Service Description

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive facial procedure that utilizes a guarded scalpel blade to gently exfoliate dead skin cells while removing vellus hair for an instantly smoother, softer, more supple face. Start with a double cleanse and prep, then finish with a soothing sheet mask, application of serums and sun protection, plus attention to lips and eyes. PREPARATION: 7 days prior to your treatment, do not wax, exfoliate or tweeze the face, and discontinue topical products containing AHA/BHA, benzoyl peroxide, retinol, and Vitamin A/retinoids: tretinoin (brands include Atralin, Avita, Retin-A, Retin-A Micro, Renova), tazarotene (Avage, Tazorac), and adapalene (Differin). AFTERCARE: Avoid sun exposure, use daily UV protection, and wait 7 days to wax, exfoliate, and resume products named above. NOTE: A series of 3-6 treatments spaced 2+ weeks is recommended.
